Clinical and Booking Policies
- All practitioners are HCPC registered. You may verify credentials via: https://www.hcpc-uk.org/check-the-register/.
- We operate a 24-hour cancellation policy. Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are chargeable in full.
- Deposits:
- Certain appointments, including new patient consultations and specific treatments, require a pre-paid deposit at the time of booking.
- If a patient cancels or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fails to attend, the deposit will be retained in full by the clinic.
- For cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment, deposits may be transferred to a future booking.
- Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes past the scheduled time) may be refused treatment and charged as a missed appointment.
- Patients are required to complete a medical history form prior to treatment. Failure or delay in completion may result in a shortened appointment time or rescheduling.
- The clinic reserves the right to cancel or rearrange appointments due to unforeseen circumstances and will provide as much notice as possible.
- We reserve the right to request full payment in advance for future appointments if you have previously missed appointments or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Use of AI in Treatment Notes
In line with modern clinical practice, MyFootMedic uses secure AI-based tools as clinical scribes to assist in creating and formatting treatment notes.
These tools do not make clinical decisions; they are used solely to assist with accurate and efficient documentation, allowing our clinicians to dedicate more time to your care and less time on administrative tasks.
By booking an appointment, you consent to the use of AI in the preparation of your treatment notes.
If you wish to opt out of this process, please contact us before your appointment at info@myfootmedic.com.
All data processed through AI tools is handled securely and in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
Clinical Right to Decline or Withdraw Treatment
We reserve the right to:
- Decline or withdraw treatment without notice if deemed necessary under HCPC standards of conduct, performance, and ethics.
- Refer patients to another provider where clinically appropriate or where safety concerns arise.
