Lauren Miller

Lauren is one of our practising podiatrists at My Foot Medic.
She has a first class honours degree graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Since then she has gone on to gain more qualifications within the field of podiatry to give all of her patients a gold standard experience.
She is well known for her caring, positive, forward thinking attitude and thrives from giving her patients a first class treatment with every visit.

Some questions we asked Lauren!

What inspired you to get into this field of work?

I began to gain an interest in podiatry through a family member who was practising at the time. I always knew I would like a job in the medical field, as I love to help people by providing a significant difference in their quality of life. I have always enjoyed sport and exercise, so I took a keen interest in biomechanics. I then found that I enjoyed all aspects of podiatry.

How do you keep active?

I love the outdoors so whenever I have a free weekend I love to hike and explore nearby beaches and mountains.
I’m usually in the gym in the evenings, with boxing being my main hobby!

What do you do outside of work?

I love spending time with my family and friends and often travel around the UK to see them all on the weekends!
I love to travel and see new cultures. I try to go to a different place around the world every year.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself?

When I was 22, I flew to Nepal on my own and completed an 8 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp.
