Posted on Pippa RutherfordTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My 11 year old daughter had multiple verrucas. GPs no longer treat these and nothing from the chemist or natural remedies had worked & they were just increasing. She’d had them treated with another podiatrist abroad. That treatment not only didn’t work but had also been traumatic for her so she was extremely nervous going in. Lukes treatment was virtually painless (just one anesthetic injection that lasted 10secs or so and then she was happy watching Netflix while Luke got to work. This is her review: “Luke was really nice and didn’t rush me and reassured me. He told me what was going to happen step by step.”Posted on Gabriel Fialho ManochioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an amazing initial appointment, Lauren was kind and amazed me with her work, I left the clinic already feeling less pain.Posted on Alex YoungTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very pleasant and a professional experience. Felt comfortable and satisfied with my treatment and plan. ThanksPosted on Jane ReddyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Luke was extremely thorough and kind with our son with special needs who was put immediately at ease. We have a clear diagnosis and a very detailed plan going forward which will help us resolve the current issue and also help with his mobility in the longer term.Posted on Alistair BurtTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very good appointment. Like too many, I had left assessment and treatment too long. But any apprehension was cleared by a thorough examination, an explanation of what my options were, and what to expect going forward. Written information of treatment options forwarded within an hour. Impressed and happy to recommend.Posted on Naomi BerryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lauren was helpful, knowledgeable and gave me treatment together with good foot advice. I am very grateful for this service.Posted on Scott BarnettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started to have pain in my foot about a year ago. Initial diagnosis by my doctor wasn’t leading to any treatment plan. Frustrated, I searched locally and found My foot medic. Through a very thorough process of diagnosis i was given a treatment plan. I cannot thank My foot medic enough for their help in treating me.Posted on Sarah JTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brilliant service provided by My Foot Clinic, from the moment I arrived I felt at complete ease and welcomed by the team who signed me in. Easy check in and a short wait time. I was booked with Lauren who was fantastic and so lovely, she took the time to ensure that all my questions were answered and was so professional and friendly. I felt so comfortable during my appointment and satisfied with the outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Lauren and my Foot Clinic to anyone!
New Patients
Welcome to My Foot Medic
We’re so pleased you’ve found us. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, an ingrown toenail, or just want more comfort, our friendly Bedford podiatry team is here to help.
At My Foot Medic, new patients are always welcome. From the moment you contact us, you’ll be treated with warmth, respect, and clear communication about every step of your care.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
We know that seeing a podiatrist for the first time might feel a little daunting, so here’s exactly what will happen when you visit us at our Bedford clinic.
- Please use the emailed link to submit your medical history form online.
- Bring along any current insoles, orthotics, or regularly worn footwear that you use.
- If you are attending for a nail issue, please remove any gels or nail polish before your appointment.
You’ll be welcomed by our friendly front-of-house team and shown to a comfortable treatment room. During your appointment, your podiatrist will discuss your concerns, symptoms, and goals. Depending on your needs, we’ll either carry out a full assessment of your feet, ankles, knees and lower limbs (including gait analysis if needed) or focus on your skin, nails, and general foot health. We’ll explain our findings in clear, simple language and discuss the most suitable care or treatment options with you.
In many cases, treatment can begin immediately, whether that’s nail or skin care, pain management, or starting your rehabilitation plan. Some procedures, such as minor operations, steroid injections, or more complex treatments, may need to be scheduled for a later date.
We’ll always explain what we’re doing and why, so you can feel confident and comfortable knowing you’re in safe hands.
First appointments usually last around 30 minutes for skin or nail concerns, and up to 60 minutes for musculoskeletal injury and movement assessments. This allows your podiatrist time to fully understand your needs, carry out a thorough assessment, and discuss the best treatment or care plan with you.
Initial Appointment Pricing:
- Skin or nail initial appointment: £95
- Musculoskeletal assessment: £125
We’ll always explain what’s included and give you a clear breakdown of any costs before treatment begins. Our aim is to identify the cause of your symptoms and create a plan that genuinely improves your comfort and mobility. Many treatments are included in your appointment cost, though some may incur an additional fee.
Choosing the Right Appointment
We want to make sure you’re booked with the best clinician for your specific needs, so you get the right care from day one.
When booking online, please take a moment to read the appointment descriptions carefully – each type of appointment is tailored to a particular concern.
If you have pain, discomfort, or reduced movement in your feet, ankles, knees, or legs, you’ll need an MSK appointment.
- Best for recent or single-area pain.
Choose this appointment if:
- Your pain has been present for less than 3 months
- Symptoms are in one specific area (e.g. heel, ankle, or forefoot)
This appointment is great for new or localised issues.
If, during your visit, your podiatrist feels your case needs a more detailed or advanced assessment, we’ll recommend a follow-up with our Senior MSK Podiatrist to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
*Point-Of-Care Ultrasound Imaging is not available during this appointment type
- Ideal for complex, long-standing, or multi-site pain – but suitable for all MSK patients.
Choose this appointment if:
- You have any kind of foot, ankle, knee or leg pain, no matter how recent or long-term
- Your pain affects one or more than one area (e.g. pain in both feet)
- You may have seen other professionals or tried other treatments
- You’d like a comprehensive biomechanical assessment with a Senior MSK Podiatrist
This appointment provides a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and a tailored treatment plan to help you move comfortably again.
*Imaging (such as Ultrasound, X-Ray or MRI), comes with an additional fee when required.
If your concern involves:
- General foot care (nail and skin maintenance)
- Hard skin or corns
